Born in California, Kyle Schafer is a pianist, composer, and singer. He grew up playing music and singing in church, in band class, in choir, and in his own rock and jazz bands with friends. He studied Jazz Piano at Long Beach State University, which provided an entrance into the Los Angeles music scene. Kyle spent his years at university and the period afterward playing jazz, Americana, rock, and more. He also had the opportunity to privately study under jazz piano master Alan Pasqua.

A collaborative, anything goes creative spirit characterizes Kyle’s artistic drive. Drawing from his own faith and musical background, Kyle recorded the Gospel album If You Are Weary in 2018 for Polytone Records under his two middle names, “Adam Everett.” In addition to his own projects, Kyle also frequently collaborates and has contributed to a variety of records in every style from Christian worship music to psycheledic rock. He also has a wide variety of musical influences, including Keith Jarrett, The Band, Joni Mitchell, Chet Baker, and many more.
